Description

The Sonata pointe shoe shank/insole is not secured at the heel, with less resistance past the breakpoint the dancer will feel well supported and uplifted when 'en pointe'.

Inside the box at the platform is a soft sponge cushion insert which gives added comfort and protection when standing 'en pointe' also acting as a shock absorber.

This shoe actively supports the dancer with flexible arches under the metatarsals while still allowing the foot to arch at the three quarter.

Fine cushioning under the pleats soften the sound of the box.

Narrow heel shape - Hugs the heel and reduces creasing
Wide platform - Gives lateral support and balanced distribution of weight
Inner rubber toe cushion - Comfort when standing 'en pointe'
Unsecured insole at heel - Allows heel to arch away from instep
Standard 'A' paste - Has resilience and is less affected by climatic conditions such as heat and humidity
